Welcome to the Empowered Discipleship Course
We are Evangelist Julian Reddihough and Evangelist Marie Davies, and it is our great pleasure to introduce you to the new Empowered Discipleship Course, an exciting Christian teaching programme designed to help children and young people grow in their faith and develop a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ.
Julian is an ordained Minister of the Gospel and a graduate of the internationally respected evangelistic organisation Christ for all Nations (CfaN). He has preached internationally through Christian missions reaching hundreds of thousands of people, as documented on his website, www.evangelistjulian.com and the ministry website ggcc.world. He is also a trained Christian children's and youth minister.
For many years, CfaN-trained evangelists have visited schools throughout Africa, delivering the popular 20-minute Christian programme, "Making the Right Choices in Life". Your school may already have benefited from one of these visits.
Building upon this successful schools ministry, we have worked together, alongside other experienced Christian children's and youth ministers, to develop the Empowered Discipleship Course. This exciting new weekly programme is designed to take pupils beyond their initial introduction to the Christian message, helping them to understand, develop and put their faith into practice in everyday life, and learn to minister to one another.
The course has been officially approved by the leadership of Christ for all Nations (www.cfan.org) for use by their evangelists and appointed representatives. It is also available through the free CfaN RED App, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The course can be found under the "Resources" section.
Our teaching is Bible-based and interdenominational, making it suitable for pupils from Catholic, Anglican, Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal and other Christian backgrounds. The course concentrates on the fundamental truths of the Christian faith and practical biblical principles, rather than the distinctive doctrines or traditions of any particular denomination.
How Will Your Pupils Benefit?
Our aim is not simply to increase pupils' knowledge of the Bible, but to help them put their Christian faith into practice in everyday life.
The course is designed to help young people:
- Develop a strong personal foundation in the Christian faith.
- Make wise choices and resist negative influences.
- Grow in honesty, respect, kindness and self-discipline.
- Develop responsibility, good character and positive attitudes towards others.
- Become active in their Christian faith through prayer, Bible study and Christian service and ministry.
- Prepare for a purposeful, responsible and fruitful future.
We believe these Christian values can make a lasting difference to your pupils, your school, and the wider community!
Flexible and Easy for Your School to Introduce!
The course consists of 15 weekly lessons, with prepared teaching materials.
It can be led by your own teachers or Christian leaders, suitable mature students where appropriate, or our trained volunteer representatives — whichever arrangement best meets your school's needs. Our representatives will be delighted to discuss with you the course materials, and how the programme could work in your school.
Our shared vision is to see a new generation of children and young people empowered by God's Word, growing in their faith and equipped to live as committed followers of Jesus Christ.
We warmly invite your school / church / organisation to take advantage of this exciting opportunity!
